Fundraiser for Sangamon Co Veterans Van

Followed by Karaoke at 5:00

Mostaccioli will be served for $5.00 per person.

Money raised during this event will go to the Sangamon County Veterans Assistance Commission for purchase toward new van to transport veterans to VA Hospitals.

Time to raise some money for the Land of Lincoln Honor Flight! We are looking for some silent auction items or gift cards etc; There will be Live Music, great food, great cars and tons of fun! FREE DENTISTRY DAY , NOVEMBER 15, 2019

 

In honor of the 100th Anniversary of the World War I Armistice, the Veterans Memorial Foundation would like to invite you and your veteran organization to attend the rededication of the World War I Memorial at its new location in Oak Ridge Cemetery.

Libby Conroy has volunteered as location leader for Wreaths Across America at Camp Butler National Cemetery.  Wreaths Across America sponsorship can be made using this form or online. If a person would like to have a wreath placed at a grave specif they will need to go our fundraising group's website www.wreathsacrossamerica.org/IL0007
Note that there are other groups collecting for wreaths but they are independent of managing "grave-specific" wreaths. 

Camp Butler Unaccompanied burial ceremony for veterans that did not receive military honors will be held Oct 2, 2019 at 9AM. Open to the public.
