My name is Nicci and I am a Servant Heart Leader with the Mission BBQ that is opening in Springfield Illinois. I received your contact information from Dane Shaffer and I am very excited to work with you in the future. I'm not sure if you have heard about us or not, but we are in the business of Serving Those Who Serve and we periodically give to several charities throughout the year, one of them being the Wreaths Across America.
Our USO charity night is
coming up on January 22nd from 6pm-9pm and we would love it if you could
make it out to any or all of our charity nights leading up to our
opening. A portion of our cup sales and food sales goes directly to the
designated charity for our police, fire, and USO. We sell WAA cups
starting just after Thanksgiving going through Christmas. We also have
teammates and other leaders volunteer to lay wreaths every year.
We
are going to be store #100 here in central Illinois, opening on January
25th at Noon. It should be a great turn out with a ladder fire truck
and large American flag, a live National Anthem singer, honor/color
guard and all of our uniformed heroes from the community.
I
have attached those fliers here at the end of the email. We can't wait
to get started here in the community and become a part of the family.

Across America at CB had an increase count over last year despite the
pandemic. Ceremony was privately conducted by staff on Friday morning
before the official WAA day.
