The annual Christmas Remembrance takes place Saturday, Dec. 7 at 1 p.m. The names of troops listed as prisoner of war or missing in action will be read. Family and friends will hang heart-shaped ornaments bearing the name of lost loved ones on a nearby tree. The general public can participate by bringing a weather-proof ornament to hang.

Next Interveterans Council meeting is Jan 29. Elections will be held. There were NO NOMINATIONS FOR PRESIDENT OR CHAPLAIN.

VA to hold off on sharing medical records after veterans' lawsuit says it violated privacy

VFW 10302 is sponsoring a raffle for this quilt. All proceeds will be
used for our Annual Illinois Vietnam Veteran 24-hour Vigil. All will be able
to view this quilt at our next Vigil meeting next Saturday. Raffle Changes
are $5 each or $10 for 3. I will try to have raffle tickets ready by then
but this may be tough to get done by then.
