Unaccompanied Memorial honors

Join Staab on October 13th for our 11th Annual Staab Ride in Honor!  We'll explore sites like the Spaulding Veterans Memorial, Camp Butler National Cemetery, Oak Ridge Cemetery War Memorials, and the New Berlin Area Veterans Memorial as we pay tribute to our remarkable servicemen and women. Sign up begins at noon at Staab Funeral Home at 1109 South Fifth Street in Springfield, and the ride begins promptly at 1 PM. Let's come together to celebrate and remember their incredible legacy.

To all those golfers looking to help support Wreaths Across America along with getting a round of golf in. Please consider participating in the Wreaths Across America Golf Outing on October 6, 2024 at Long Bridge Golf Course.

Long Bridge Golf Course is helping Menard County Wreath Warriors who is one of our many dedicated groups fundraising for Camp Butler.

The 8^th Annual American Legion Post 759 Legionnaires Golf Outing is coming on the first Friday in October, October 4th. 2024. We are way behind in Golf Outing Sponsors, Door Prize Gifts, and Team Outing Registration from our 2023 totals. If you would like to be a sponsor or if you have a contact that could be a hole sponsor or donate a door prize item, service, or product we can use for a prize, it would be appreciated. If you need to drop of a registration, sponsor check or door prize, email:  g.ori@comcast.net or alpost759@gmail.com. You can also drop off door prizes, sponsors applications and late golf team registrations at the post. September 16 from 6:00 to 7:30 pm. Please help, this outing and our Fish Fries are our only fundraisers. We don’t want to add more fund raisers throughout the year.
